Sorta reminds me of the Beast of Bray road folklore.

Isn't the beast a biped, tho?

I don't follow reports closely, but a few featured in a documentary I saw awhile back did mention it walking on all fours, rearing up like a bear, and then walking bipedally.

I really like this except it looks kinda weird 'cause the ears are to small and there's no tail.

I don't like tails on werewolves.

Thank you for this. I feel like a lot of folks forget the 'Were'* part in werewolves and just make it a bit wolf with thumbs.

Oh yes, the wolf with thumbs thing is my bete noir. Not that I haven't drawn them that way myself, but I've gotten so many rude comments when I deviate from it, it's really quite aggravating.

Sorry for your pain Veirgacht, some people just hate talent if it doesn't go the exact way they want it. I've gotten ragged on for just liking the classic Universal Wolfman design, sorry you get worse. Seems that the more 'human' a werewolf is, the less fangirls it has gushing over it.

It's more irritating than painful. I don't mind someone not liking the style, but ordering me to change my style or acting like werewolves exist and I'm doing them wrong somehow, it drives me nuts.

Excellent art. The fact that it's a speedpainting is even more impressive... but it makes me wonder why no werewolf book/movie/whatever has were-roadkill.

The first werewolf in Ginger Snaps got smeared across the pavement, and "hitting a werewolf" is a trope that weirdly keeps showing up in comics.

Well, then there's paintings that take months. It's always one or  the other.

Never the latter for me. LOL I don't have anywhere near the patience. Unless you count the ones I put down for like a year then find covered in dust and go "oh, right, I should finish that..." XD

Oh yeah, me too - it's not patience, it's either losing interest and coming back later or getting frustrated and putting it aside.

You wouldn't want to meet your favorite werewolf?  He'll be so sad when he changes back.

Well, perhaps on the condition that he's in human form when we meet. Somehow I doubt his alter ego would give you just a little nip and then walk away. ;)

speedpaint? wow this looks like it took you hours. but it was worth it though cause it's awesome I like how you drew the werewolf. made it look different than everyone else's werewolves and how it's going onto the road like it's saying "I don't care if you don't stop driving I'll just lunge at your car anyway, screw it all I'm walking on this road".

Maybe an hour and a half, two hours? It's mostly darkness so all the detail is in the head.

Sa-weeet! Excellent illumination. It would be cool to see how the colors play out using white LED streetlamps.
