Fan character for my favorite web comic, Wolfpearl's "Wurr".

I thought I had deleted this after Wolfpearl wrote about not liking fan characters, but she said it's OK (I'm not bugging her to put my stuff in her story or anything weird like that, I was just fooling around drawing mutant doggies) - the sketch was still in my notebook, so I thought I'd work on it as a little speedpaint to warm up. I haven't drawn much in a while.

Anyways, his skin is thick and hangs loose, and his fur has a unique kind of "sticky" keratin that forms into armor-like clumped mats as it grows. This provides some passive defense, but every so often a mat sheds, leaving behind raw, bare, painful skin.
