Despite a helpful kitten romping all over my tablet and trying to teethe on the pen, I finished my first piece for Utahraptor Week Art Drive!
This was a commission for TheInsomniac123 on tumblr, who asked for a Utahraptor in the (admittedly unlikely) but gorgeous plumage of a cardinal. Awesome! I love these little birds, back when I was in the states there was always a pair nesting in the stink tree outside my townhouse, so I did a male and a female.

Troxy is one of my very few Unfeathered dinosaur Characters from my High School Days! MOST of MY childhood's Dinosaurs were Feathered-- DECADES before it was Scientific FACT!!! (I got a lot of criticisms and teasing over My "Unscientific" Feathered Dinosaurs!!!)
