Hero commissioned book cover - no text

The cover illustration I did for Paul Bellow's HERO, the third in his LitRPG series - without the text.

As this is a commissioned cover with pretty much total artistic freedom, I got to design the whole series including typesetting & logo, and give it a consistent, distinct visual brand. I choose an unusual color combination, the blood red and teal, which are also on opposite sides of the color wheel, which let me make them very saturated and still distinct. I'm greatly enjoying getting to create all the classic fantasy critters for the series, and a dragon is about as classic as you can get.
